A November to Remember? Give Thanks

As is always the case, no one knows what tomorrow will bring. This holds true in our daily lives and especially true with the next big stock market move! Yet, we can always look back on what we have been delivered - in life and in your portfolio - and be thankful!
The year remained volatile but the market had an upside bias. How can that be possible when you think of the news about tariffs, a government shutdown, multiple wars around the world and many who prefer to be at odds than to work in unison? Well the simple answer is that the market doesn't care about this stuff! So we have remained active - especially in the past week - with the latest news out about the Fed and expected rate changes ahead. We are seeing some opportunities through a volatile earnings season right now that gives us a chance to be buyers of certain areas of equity while capturing the gains from fixed income holdings. You ask for specifics? Look for Jake and his video coming soon! Thus, at EWM, we are thankful despite the volatile times and appreciate you allowing us to work on your behalf.
1 Thessalonians 5:18: "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus" - A favorite verse of mine! If you think about it, this is not as simple as it is stated. But when we direct our thoughts to all that we have (as opposed to what we used to have or still don't have), then our focus turns to what really matters. At EWM, we have worked for years to take this approach while working to improve how we serve you in all we do. From having meetings in person or over the phone to giving you a great experience when we see you at a meeting, your home or at one of our events. For this, we give Thanks!
Consider November as a chance to think about all things that are good and give thanks! I hope your Thanksgiving season leads you to many blessings with friends and family and hopefully we will see you at our Holiday Open House in December!
Last, November is GLOBAL BIBLE MONTH. I have come across a great resource to anyone looking to learn more about the scripture and verses I include in this blog. Maybe this is your chance to grow in your Faith! Try a plan like this from Thanksgiving to Christmas and see how it can add thanks to your life!
Or, get to know the truth of the Bible here:
Blessings to you and yours!

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” -Matthew 6:33
