So Many "What Ifs": Replacing Fear with Faith

Updated: Apr 7

It's incredible to think how human emotion works. Regret is a demon that often haunts us. And usually, it begins with a question you asked yourself at one time in the past. "What if I do this...or don't do this...or this happens or that". Worry is its' sidekick.

What's incredible, is not that this is normal and part of life in our time on earth. But how difficult it is to turn the "what if" uncertainty of life into a positive for you and your mindset. Yet, the answer to this is simple. Read the image above and you know that answer.

Right now, investors are occupied with the worst outcome in regards to all we see, hear, or believe. It can be scary. Yet, have you considered this one *What if I don't invest more money here and it goes up?

The concept of working with EWM is to help remove some (if not all) of this fear. Uncertainty is something we have to live with - no one on earth knows the future. But we can look at all difficult times (or decisions) with joy. How? Making a confident decision to stay invested - or add more money if you can - and sticking with it - has paid off for investors time and time again. When you have a good financial plan in place, you have our team to help you get there. There are always bumps along the way. But by choosing faith over fear, you can rely that we work very hard to help smooth out the ride.

If you remember our analysis early in 2026 of the expected market action for a mid term year, it has gone according to plan. This decline was part of that expectation. We have tracked certain levels of the market that are nearly reached on the downside. And why do we consider this all joy? We have funds to invest and the decisions we made with portfolio activity over a month ago have proved to be beneficial so far.

Does this mean you will not see loss? No. That's not how investing works - and as I stated, no one here knows the future. But by being diligent and using our technical skills, we have found times like this to be excellent times to invest with EWM. Your long term growth depends on facing uncertainty with confidence and removing the fear! We are here to help!

What if the market goes lower?

Usually the market will correct between 10 - 20% lower about every 18 months But again, we relish the role we play in helping you reach your financial goals. So stick with with us in "not being afraid of bad news". We are not only an office that does put our trust in Him, we we also trust the talent He gave us to serve you with your financial needs.

Last bit of advice - add more cash if you can! A year from now, you may not share in the regret of that *what if question above as many others might!

Happy Easter Blessings to all! He is Risen!
