Prime Country and Principles

If you listen to the Prime Country station on Sirius Radio, you might have heard a song or two from Aaron Tippin.  The lyrics of a song from the early 1990s have always stuck in my mind.  “You’ve got to stand for something or you’ll fall for anything,” he sings in his signature twangy voice.  We all have our beliefs that are molded over time as a result of our upbringing and our life experiences.  When you have a relationship whether it is romantic, friendly, or professional, it helps to know what values the person has to make a connection.

As a consumer, we look to do business with companies that align with our values.  At Econ Wealth Management, we have the values that we communicate as our seven principles that are: We are unique, we are exclusive, we communicate proactively, we are honest, we grow with you, we work hard for you, we are human.  For a deeper look at them visit our principles.

Not everybody shares my passion for country music of the 80s and 90s, but I’ve always appreciated that the songs can tell a story or have a message.  Our company’s tagline is “Managing Wealth with Integrity.”  It feels like we might have borrowed some of the sentiment from the man with a magnificent mustache (find some videos online if you don’t believe me) when Aaron Tippin sings, “never compromise what’s right, and uphold your family name; you’ve got to stand for something, or you’ll fall for anything.”
